Prepared for Department of Environment & Conservation, WA, 2020

About

Rhizome was engaged to undertake a new Recreation Masterplan for Yalgorup National Park and Coastal areas in 2019/2020. This project considered all forms of visitor infrastructure for recreation and access through a variety of facilities as well as bridle, 4WD, cycle and hiking trails, visitor education centres, digital engagement and education methods to suit a range of visitors and abilities.

This was explored for both the Park as well as a wider audit of the surrounding four local government areas, to build a holistic understanding of visitation and opportunity while maintaining the natural and cultural values of the area - including an internationally recognised Ramsar-listed wetland chain.
